Our challenge
We are seeking an experienced AWS Tech Lead with a strong background in cloud architecture, particularly in designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS services and Bedrock, leading a team of engineers in delivering robust cloud solutions. You will play a crucial role in driving our cloud initiatives, ensuring best practices in cloud infrastructure management, and mentoring junior team members.
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable AWS cloud solutions, ensuring high availability and resilience.
- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources, enhancing deployment speed and consistency.
- Create and manage Terraform modules to standardize infrastructure components, promote reusability, and improve best practices across projects.
- Utilize AWS Bedrock for deploying machine learning models, ensuring seamless integration with existing cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop cloud-based solutions tailored to business needs, focusing on automation and efficiency.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and AWS tools to facilitate automated testing and deployment processes.
- Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure, optimizing cost and performance, and implementing monitoring solutions for proactive issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in cloud security, governance, and disaster recovery planning.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
- Document architectural designs, Terraform configurations, and operational procedures to support internal knowledge management.
Requirements:
You are:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on AWS services.
- Proven expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation, with a solid understanding of its core concepts such as state management, modules, and workspaces.
- Experience in creating and managing complex Terraform configurations across multiple environments (development, staging, production).
- Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock and its integration into cloud solutions for AI and machine learning applications.
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues.
- Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or similar certification.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and practices.
- Familiarity with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Knowledge of serverless architectures and microservices.
